Vintage and Beauty - DT Special fold

It's all about the Vintage and Beautyssä taas uusi haaste, tällä kertaa aihe on Erikoistaitellut kortit. Muistakaa ottaa osaa! On tosi mukavaa "opetalla" uusia malleja, mä olen itsekin alkanut opettelemaan vähän jotain muuta kuin aina vain neliökortteja. Haasteen nettisivuilla on lueteltu hakusanoja, joilla ohjeita kannattaa etsiä netistä, jos ne eivät ole jo entuudestaan tuttuja.

A new challenge started at It's all about the Vintage and Beauty, this time it is Special folded cards. Do take a part in the challenge! There are many different ways to fold a card, not just the square one, and you can find the instructions in the net. I've just started to find out and try them myself :D

My very first easel card

Mun ihka ensimmäinen telinekortti! Tosin ei se kyllä ole mikään valtaisa saavutus, oli niin superhelppo tehdä! ;-) Youtubesta löytyy tosi hyvä ohje hakusanalla "Easel card tutorial", jos on vielä joku muukin, joka ei tiedä tekotapaa ;D

Joulukorttia pukkaa :D Kuva on Pion Designin ja mielestäni leimasinteksti sopi siihen täydellisesti!
Luistinstanssi on Marianne Designin ja lumihiutaleet Joy!n. Piparminttutikkarikoriste on jotain vanhaa varastoa...

Vintage and Beauty - DT Anything goes

It's all about the Vintage and Beautyssä alkoi uusi haaste "Kaikki käy". Mä tein joulukortin sponsorin Rick St.Dennisin digileimasta "Skating Mice".
Valkoisen kangaskukan käsittelin kultaisella kohojauheella, jota laitoin myös kulmiin valkoisen jauheen kanssa. Kukkiin liimasin Diamond Dustia jääkiteiksi ja osaan töpötin Snow-texiä. Ja vähän Fran-tagea kuvan ympärillä.

There is a new challenge "Anything goes" at It's all about the Vintage and Beauty. I made a Xmas card of Rick St.Dennis's "Skating Mice".
I've used all kinds of embossing powders/stuff: golden and white in the corners and golden in the white fabric flower. Diamond Dust to make the flowers look a bit iced and some Snow-tex too. And a bit of Fran-tage on the sentiment and around the image.

Anopin isoisä

Tein anopille tässä alkusyksystä kortin hänen isoisästään, jonka hän halusi kehystää seinälle aikaisemmin tehdyn isoäidin kuvan viereen.

This is a card of my Mother-in-law's grandfather which I made for her earlier this autumn. She framed it alongside with the picture of her grandmother which I did for her already earlier this year.

Mä olen nyt aivan hurahtanut näiden joulukorttien tekoon - toki niillehän tulee käyttöä tässä parin kuukauden sisällä ;D
Kuva ja paperit on Maja Designin. Lumihiutalestanssi on Joy!n ja joulutähtistanssi on Joanna Sheenin. Puulumihiutale on Suomalaisesta Kirjakaupasta, käsitelty Stampendous Fran-tagella kuten Joyn lumihiutalekin.

I'm so into making Xmas cards at the moment - but never mind, in a couple of months they are very well needed ;D
Image and papers are Maja Design's. Snow flake die is Joy!'s and poinsette die is from Joanna Sheen. Wooden snow flake is from a local book shop. I've used Stampendous Fran-tage on it as well as on Joy!'s snow flake.
