White Xmas

Tähän aikaan vuodestahan sitä aletaan aina täällä pohjolassa spekuloimaan tuleeko valkea vai musta joulu... Nyt kuukausi ennen joulua meillä täällä etelässä on lunta vaikka muille jakaa, ensi viikolla ilmeisesti tarvotaan loskassa, lumi sulaa pois ja sitten voidaan aloittaa se todellinen spekulointi...
Mun valkea joulu on todellakin idyllinen vanhanaikainen luminen maisema - itse en tosin lykkää lumesta ja pakkasesta ollenkaan :D

This time of year we always here in the north start to speculate weather we'll have white or black Xmas.. Now still a month to go we have snow here in south of Finland more than enough, next week it will melt away and we'll be wading in the slush/sludge and after that we can start the speculations in full...
My white Xmas is a idylic old fashioned country scenery with snow - even I don't like snow myself  at all :D

Xmas cookie recipe book

Löysin Prismasta ja Tokmannilta kotimaisen JK Primecon tosi kivoja valmiita joulutoivotus- ja kuvatägejä, niistä saa helposti ja nopeasti ihan kivoja kortteja.
Kirjan muoto sopi mielestäni tosi hyvin tähän piparireseptitägiin, vähän niin kuin "reseptikirja" :D

I found these Xmas wishes -tags from our local supermarket, they are very quick and easy to make nice Xmas cards.
I think the book shape goes very well with Xmas cookies recipe tag, it's kind of a recipe book :D

Onhan näitä joulukortteja pukattava vaikka joulu tuntuu olevan vielä kovin kaukana...
Nyt tuli käyttöä vanhoista kätköistäni kaivamalle pikku-porokuvalle. Tykkään tosi paljon noista paperipilleistä, voisin tunkea niitä joka korttiin ;D

This baby reindeer image is from my old stash, now I finally found some use for it... I love these paper straws! I could really put them into my every card ;D

Xmas angel

Koko viime viikon mä työstin mielessäni tätä jouluista enkelikorttia mutta se ei edistynyt sitten yhtään, ei tullut minkäänlaista inspistä :( Sitten torstai-iltana mä vihdoin sain jonkinlaisen ahaa-elämyksen ja teinkin sen sitten alusta loppuun siltä seisomalta - harvoin saan yhdessä illassa täysin valmista ;D

For the past week I've been processing this Xmas angel card in my mind... with no inspiration what so ever, total blank upstairs.. Then last Thursday I finally had some kind of idea and made the card completely right there and then  - I seldom get it done in one evening ;D

Tämä kortti meni mun tyttärelle, joka sai Helsingin Kauppakorkeasta kandin paperit pari viikkoa sitten.
Kohojauheelle käsitellyt kukkaköynnös- ja teekuppikoriste on Live and Love Craftsistä ja nuottisydän Suomalaisesta Kirjakaupasta.

I gave this card to my daughter who got the first degree from Aalto University, School of Business.
Embossed flower swirl is from Live and Lover Crafts.

Mun tytär hämmästeli: teetkö sä jo joulukortteja?! Mutta ihan satavarmasti niiden kanssa tulee taas tänäkin vuonna lopulta kiire vaikka tässä muutaman niitä ajoissa tekisikin ;(
Kuva on vanhasta saamastani joulukortista jonka säästin ja näin nyt sitten uusiokäytän sen. HoHoHo-teksti on valmiista Dutch Boodaboo tagiarkista.

My daughter was amazed: are you making Xmas cards already?! But I'm absolutely sure that even I now make couple of them it's still not early enough and in the end time runs out as it does every year ;(
