Ylioppilaalle

Duunikaveri pyysi kahta ylioppilaskorttia ja ne oli taas molemmat pojille, joten ei pitsiä eikä hörssykkää ;-) Toki yksinkertaisistakin aineksista tulee ihan kiva, mutta olen vain tottunut tekemään aina vähän runsaammin koristeltuja ;D

A colleague from my work asked me make two graduation cards. Once again they were for boys so no lace, no frill ;-) Of course you can make a nice card also with simpler embellies but I've just used to use much more of them ;D

Vihdoinkin olen selvinnyt flunssastani, heti tuli kauhea hinku puuhata jotain korttipajassa :D Leimakuva on Lili of the Valleyn "Coffee break", mutta kun mä en juo kahvia, niin se muuttui teeksi ;-), väritetty Copic-tusseilla.
Toi kauhea vesileimakokeilu jäi kuvaan vahingossa :( Älkää välittäkö siitä!

I've finally overcome the flu and immediately I had get something done in crafting room :D
The image is LOTV's "Coffee break", but since I don't drink coffee it turned into tea ;-) I've colored it with Copics.
That hideous watermark was just a test which came out by mistake :( So just ignore it!

Mother's Day

Olen ollut tosi kipeä koko viikon, joten korttipajassa on ollut hiljaista. Sain kuitenkin viimeisteltyä tämän anoppini äitienpäiväkortin. Hän tykkää enemmän tummista, maanläheisistä väreistä kuin hempeästä pinkistä - siitä kortin värimaailma. Laitoin korttiin pikkupojan kukkien kanssa markkeeraamaan hänen poikaansa eli mun siippaani ;-)

I've had a terrible flu for the past week so it's been very quiet in my craft room. Next Sunday we have Mother's Day here in Finland and I managed to finish this criss cross card to my Mother-in-Law. She likes more dark, earthly colors rather than soft pink - there comes the colors for this card. The boy with flowers represents her son, that is my hubby ;-)

Lacy Sunshine Guest DT

Mut valittiin viime Lacy Sunshinen haasteessa vierailijajäseneksi! Jee!! Tämän kertainen aihe olikin todella haasteellinen, siinä pitää "jostain muuhun tarkoitukseen tehdystä kuvasta tehdä johonkin ihan toiseen aiheeseen liittyvä kortti" ym. Olipa hankala selittää! :D
Mä valitsin söpön Bubble's Bath kuvan ja tein siitä joulukortin. Kuva oli tosi kiva värittää ja mielestäni hiukset onnistui tosi hyvin - vaikka itse sanonkin ;-) Kuvan valinta oli tosi vaikeaa, koska Lacy Sunshinessa on tosi paljon ihania kuvia!

In the last challenge at Lacy Sunshine I was chosen as a Guest DT! Yee!! The theme of today's challenge was a bit tricky: Topsy Turvy Mismatch... I took this cute Bubble's Bath image and made a Xmas card out of it. Coloring this image was a lot fun and I'm quite pleased with the hair - even I say so myself ;-) I was very difficult to choose the image because there are so many lovely images at Lacy Sunshine!

Äitienpäiväkortti/koriste

Äitienpäivä lähestyy... tein omalleni tällä kertaa riippuvan korttikoristeen. Kauhean vaikea saada riippuvaan, pyöreään pohjaan kaikki "suoraan", kun koko juttu pitäisi saada tehdä tossa riippuvassa asennossa - hmmm, hieman hankalaa :D

Here in Finland Mother's Day is in two week, so I made this hanging round card/ormament for my mother. It's quite tricky to get everything straight on a round basic when the hole project should be all the time in hanging position :D

Takapuolelle laitoin varsinaisen toivotuksen (joka sekin meni vinoon...), mutta muuten jätin aika paljaaksi.
On the back I placed the actual sentiment (which is not straight...), but otherwise I left it quite simple.

Keväinen kortti lähtee kummitädilleni, joka täyttää pyöreitä ensi viikolla.
Kulmikas kakkupaperi on äidiltä saatu, pikkupoikakuva on Reprintin, pääskystägi on Pion Designin ja ovaali medaljonki on vanhaa varastoa.

This springtime card goes to my godmother, she has a birthday next week.
Square doily is from my mother, image is Reprint's, bird tag is Pion Design's cut out and oval gold medallion is from my stash.

Duunikaveri tilasi taas lapsenlapselleen synttärikortin, sain tehdä söpön Wimpsy tytön hempeillä väreillä pienelle tytölle!
Perhosstanssi on Joy!n, neliöstanssi Spellbindersin ja 3D cupcake on Panduro Hobbysta.

My co-workers asked for a birthday card to his grandchild, I got to make a cute Wimpsy girl with beautiful soft colors to a little girl!
Butterfly die is Joy!'s, square die is Spellbinders' and 3D cupcakes are from Panduro Hobby.
