Spring colors

Ulkona ei ole vielä kovin keväinen fiilis, mutta onneksi kortteihin voi aina laittaa kauniita, piristäviä värejä! Pitkästä aikaa väritin Magnolian Tildan, mun lemppariväreillä :D

Even it's not very spring-like yet outside you can always make a card with beautiful, cheering up colors! I colored Magnolia's Tilda (haven't colored her for a while) with my favorite colors :D

On yleisesti tunnustettu totuus, että... (avaussanat Jane Austenin "Ylpeys ja ennakkoluulo" -kirjassa).. teinit ei tykkää hempestä vaaleanpunaisesta ja röyhelöistä. Ne tykkää vain mustasta, valkoisesta ja harmaasta... niistä ei saa aikaiseksi kuin hautajaiskortin, joten lisäsin vähän liilaa ja vaaleansinistä tuomaan edes vähän tyttömäisyyttä ;D

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that... (opening line in Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice")... teenagers don't like soft pink and frills. They like only black, white and gray, those colors fit best only to funeral cards so I added a bit of lilac and blue to make it a bit more girly :D

Tämä menee ensi kuussa ex anopilleni. Hän ei ole mikään "rimpsu ja röyhelö -ihminen", joten koitin tehdä mahdollisimman yksinkertaisen, mutta eihän kaunista pitsiä voi jättää käyttämättä!

This card goes to my ex mother-in-law. She doesn't like "fancy and frills" so I tried to make it very simple, allthough I can never leave away beautiful laces!

Dress card

Olen suunnitellut tällaista mekkokorttia jo pitkän aikaa, mutta nyt vasta sain sen aikaiseksi. Löysin ohjeet yhdestä englantilaisesta askartelulehdestä, mutta topin ja hameen leikkaaminen ja taittelu vekille ei todellakaan vaadi ohjeita, se on oikeesti helppoa!

I'm been planning to make this kind of dress for a long time, but didn't get it done until now. I found instructions in one English crafting magazine, but really you don't need instructions to cut the top and skirt and fold the skirt, it's super easy!

Shopping for fashion

Tämänkin leiman (Whiff of Joyn "Shopping Willow") ostin viime kesänä Englannista, mutta nyt vasta käytin sitä ensimmäistä kertaa! Katulyhtystanssi on Magnolian ja tiiliseinäkohokuviointitasku (kauhea sana!) on Marianne Designin.

I bought this Whiff of Joy's "Shopping Willow" stamp last summer in England, but this is the first time I'm using it! Street light die is Magnolia's and the brick wall embossing folder is Marianne Design's.

It's nice to make every now and then a card for a younger person, I don't get to make them  very often. The image is Whoopsi Daisy's, colored with Copics.
